I thought the "Me" in your icon was random scribbles. Why a circle? I don't see the connection between your icon and logo (especially with the typefaces used.) The pen is nice, I know you can push your icon and logo further then this to make something as amazing as your first icon-logo. Maybe try a checkered disappearing circle rather than a solid one. Only way I can describe this is a full circle slowly beginning to disappear in a pixelated way at the upper half of it. So it both supports the pen from the bottom and doesn't way down you pen on the top.
The type within the design for your logo doesn't support the icon. I think this would be a appropriate time for you to use your own handwriting. You can change the circles purpose by using it as a small ink splatter at the end of the pen tip and making it dribble a bit to make the eyeflow descend from your pen to the blot then to the wording.
I like this one... if the "ME" was maybe a little bolder it could pop out? Although... I'm not sure that would be visible at a smaller size? I'm sure you'll be able to fix this.
